Learn how to clear your browser Cache/Cookies. You can delete your browser's cache or cookies for a better experience using Geru.
In most computer-based web browsers, to open menus used to clear your cache, cookies, and history, press Ctrl-Shift-Delete (Windows) or Command-Shift-Delete (Mac). If this doesn't work, follow the appropriate instructions below.
Important Note: Clearing your web browser's cache, cookies, and history may remove data such as the following: Saved Passwords/ Address Bar Predictions (Chrome,Firefox), Shopping Cart Contents.
Chrome
- In the browser bar, enter
chrome://settings/clearBrowserData
- At the top of the "Clear browsing data" window, click .
- Select the following
From the "Time range" drop-down menu, you can choose the period of time for which you want to clear cached information. To clear your entire cache, select
.- Click .
- Exit/quit all browser windows and re-open the browser.
Firefox
- From the menu, select . If the menu bar is hidden, press ALT to make it visible.
- From the drop-down menu, select the desired range; to clear your entire cache, select .
- Next to "Details", click the down arrow to choose which elements of the history to clear; to clear your entire cache, select all items.
- Click .
- Exit/ quit all browser windows and re-open the browser.
Microsoft Edge
- To view your browsing history, select Favorites >History.
- Select Clear History.
- Choose the types of data you want to remove from your PC, then select Clear.
- If you use Cortana and want to clear browsing history that's stored in the cloud, select Change what Microsoft Edge knows about me in the cloud, then select Clear activity.
Internet Explorer
- Select
Alt
to make it visible. If the menu bar is hidden, press - Deselect

, and select - Click .You will see a confirmation at the bottom of the window when the process is complete.
- Exit/quit all browser windows and re-open the browser.
Opera
- From the Opera menu, select Settings, and then Delete Private Data.
- In the dialog box that opens, select the items you want to clear, and then click Delete.
- Exit/quit all browser windows and re-open the browser.
Safari
- From the menu, select or
- Select the desired time range, and then click .
- Go to
Command-Q
to exit the browser completely. or press
